At ChefJapón, we take the protection of your personal data seriously. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what your rights are.
Data we collect
We collect: name, email, WhatsApp number, nationality, quiz responses, CV (PDF), and your motivation. We only collect what is necessary for the matching service.
Legal basis
Processing of your data is based on your explicit consent, which you grant when submitting the application form.
Purpose of processing
We use your data to: analyze your profile and recommend roles, communicate with you about opportunities, and improve our service.
Data retention
We retain your data for a maximum of 180 days from your last activity. CVs are automatically deleted after this period.
Third parties and processors
We use: Supabase (database and storage, EU), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (hosting). None of these services have access to your data beyond what is necessary for their function.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to: access your data, rectify it, delete it, restrict its processing, and port it. To exercise these rights, use the deletion link in your confirmation email or contact us directly.
Data deletion
You can delete all your data at any time using the deletion link included in your application confirmation email.
Cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies. We do not use tracking cookies. Only essential cookies are used for site functionality.
